Bio

Although Nancy enjoyed art through her school years, it wasn't until 2004 that she rediscovered her love of art.  At that time in Ontario, she took drawing classes, pen & ink classes and watercolor classes.  Watercolor is her preferred medium.  She continues to take classes and workshops and looks forward to learning new things.  Having the opportunity to do some travelling and being a hobbiest bird watcher has had an influence on what she paints.  She joined the Osoyoos Painters & Potters in 2008 and then the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2009 as a supporting member and was juried to Active Status in May 2009.  Her work has won awards and has been accepted into several juried shows.  She was also represented by the Austin Street Gallery in Rockport, Texas in 2010/11 when spending some of the winter months away from the cold.
